Please let me introduce for you the Americas Children's Home and to inform you of our philosophy and goals.
I. WHO WE ARE:
Americas Children's Home is a project of the Church of Christ in Forrest Park, Georgia; its not governmental, with no profit purpose, and it was born in the mind and heart of our Creator. James 1:27.
II. PHILOSOPHY:
The intention of the elders is that, Americas Children’s Home, take care, maintain, train, educate, and overcoat, give to the children an atmosphere of a Christian home, where they can grow. We believe that with the correct training and strength, these children can become a benefit for the society. Our mission is to glorify God providing an environment where the children can receive a training and instructions centralize on Christ values ; helping to strengthening the family nucleus and been faithful administrators of the humans goods and materials that he provide.
III OUR OBJECTIVE:
1. Is to glorify God providing an environment where the children can receive a training and instructions of Christ values; helping strengthening the family nucleus; been faithful administrators of the humans goods and materials, that the Lord in his goodness give us.
2. Develop programs for the integral development of the child, with the purpose that they can live a plain life, healthy, with their rights secure and protected, free from the poorness, violence and discrimination.
IV THE PEDAGOGY OF THE CHILDREN’S HOME IS DETERMINED IN 3 PRINCIPLES:
1. The Christian Family:
Who are the responsible of the home and at the same time provide affection, love, understanding, confidence, share their worries, fears, duties, happiness, sorrows and educate them in moral and spiritual values which is the fundamental base for a good development and to be of a good acceptance in the society.
2. Nature Brothers:
That grows together with the children and give them strength, the advice and love that the children deserve. Moreover, biological brothers should not be separated, so the family unit don't fall apart.
3.The Home:
Place where provide to the child satisfaction in all his basics needs, for a normal physical growth, moral and spiritual.
V. PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS
1. Health Clinic:
* Pediatric Medical Attention
* Dentistry
* Future Village: (house with families), where more than 100 children can be attend.
2. Secular Education
3. Christian Training
4. Extra activities
5. Transportation
6. Recreation Park
7. Need of more furniture for playing

GOALS TO ACHIEVE:
* A bigger bus, because the one we have is to small and we can’t do outing as a family.
* Construct new buildings to lodge more children, because the institutions that protects children here in Panama, are very few, and the need of more lodge house are many.
